Mshairismypassion Policy & Information

By booking an appointment with MSHAIRISMYPASSION LLC. you acknowledge that you have fully read, understand and agree to MSHAIRISMYPASSION LLC. terms and conditions regarding my appointment policy.

 

Due to the coziness of the salon, if a client is showing symptoms of being sick in any way, I reserve the right to refuse service and reschedule your appointment. Before booking any service with MSHAIRISMYPASSION LLC., please view pictures and videos of my work on all social media @mshairismypassion to ensure that I am the right stylist for you.

At MSHAIRISMYPASSION LLC., a nonrefundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding deposits:

A nonrefundable deposit is required to confirm your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the service on the day of your appointment.
All deposits are nonrefundable. If you cancel, reschedule, or fail to show up for your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited and cannot be refunded under any circumstances.  Deposits are not transferable to other clients or services. If you choose to book a different service, a new deposit may be required.
Deposits must be paid at the time of booking. Your appointment will not be confirmed until the deposit is received.
Once the deposit is received, you will receive an email or text confirmation of your appointment. Please ensure that all information is correct.

 

We understand that emergencies happen. If you must cancel or reschedule within 48 hours due to an emergency, please contact us directly. While the deposit is nonrefundable, we may be able to reschedule without further penalty depending on the situation.

You may reschedule your appointment once without losing your deposit if you provide at least 48 hours notice. Any further rescheduling will require a new deposit.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, the appointment may be canceled at the discretion of the stylist, and the deposit will be forfeited.
If you do not show up for your appointment without prior notice, the deposit will be forfeited, and any future bookings will require a new deposit.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will incur a cancellation fee of $50. This fee is charged because last-minute cancellations often leave us with unfilled time slots that could have been offered to other clients. Same-day cancellations or failure to show up for your appointment will result in the full service being charged.

 

At MSHAIRISMYPASSION LLC., we strive to provide a comfortable and positive experience for all our clients, including children. We understand that every child is unique, and we do our best to accommodate their needs. However, for the safety and comfort of the child, our staff, and other clients, we reserve the right to refuse service to uncooperative children under the following terms of uncooperative behavior.

Uncooperative behavior includes, but is not limited to, excessive crying, physical resistance, refusal to sit still, aggressive behavior (e.g., hitting, kicking), and any other actions that make it unsafe or impossible to perform the service.

 It is their responsibility to help calm and encourage cooperation from the child. If the child becomes unmanageable, the service may be paused or stopped.

For the safety of the child and our staff, we cannot perform services if the child is uncooperative to the extent that it presents a risk of injury. This includes situations where the child cannot sit still during haircuts or other treatments involving tools.

Our stylists reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service if a child is uncooperative, and the situation cannot be resolved after reasonable attempts. In such cases, any deposits or payments made for the service will not be refunded.

If the service must be stopped due to the child’s uncooperative behavior, you may reschedule the appointment for another day. A new deposit may be required for the rescheduled appointment.

If your child has difficulty sitting through a full service, we recommend booking shorter appointments or breaking up services into multiple visits. We also encourage trying to prepare your child for the experience by discussing what will happen at the salon beforehand.

If you know in advance that your child may have difficulty during the appointment, we encourage early communication so we can plan accordingly. However, our standard cancellation and no-show policies will still apply.

 

Once a service has been completed, the sale is considered final. No refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued for any reason, including dissatisfaction with the result. We offer consultations prior to any service to ensure we fully understand your expectations and preferences. It is the client's responsibility to communicate any concerns or desired outcomes during the consultation process.

If you are unsatisfied with the service result, you may request an adjustment within 24 hours of your appointment. Adjustments will be made at the discretion of the stylist and must be within the scope of the original service booked.

All product sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be accepted for retail products purchased from our salon, including hair care products, tools, or accessories.

Prepaid packages or services, such as gift cards or memberships, are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.

Hair services can vary based on hair type, previous treatments, and other factors. While we strive for the best possible outcome, we do not guarantee specific results for any service, and no refunds will be given for outcomes that differ from expectations.

Our deposit and cancellation policies are separate from this policy and must be followed as per our terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to those policies does not entitle the client to a refund or exchange.

 

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to clients and will apply to any future bookings.

CUSTOM WIG ORDERS

Please be sure to read this information fully and thoroughly, as well as follow all recommended instructions to ensure you receive your custom unit exactly as you wish. This will ensure you avoid any unnecessary issues that would cause your end result, and overall experience with MsHairisMyPassion to be less than satisfactory.

In the event you require clarification or any further information regarding anything involved in this process or not included in the given details below, we encourage you to contact us with any inquiries PRIOR to beginning the process.

MsHairisMyPassion strives to provide the best quality constructed unit to your custom specifications and we want you to be fully informed, and pleased with your unit. MSHAIRISMYPASSION does not compose wigs with synthetic hair fibers, synthetic blend human hair, or extreme low quality processed human hair. All payments are due prior to sending the hair to Mshairismypassion. Turn around times start from the date your hair is received, if your payment has been made. If payment is not made once hair is received, turn around time starts from the date that the payment is made. MSHAIRISMYPASSION does makes wigs with previously installed hair, but if the wefts/tracks are cut there is an additional $25 fee.  They must be prepped, cleaned and ready for me to start the unit otherwise the will be an additional fee. Basic custom unit turnaround time is 7 buisness days. If you need custom color it's an additional 3 buisness days added on to the total time. Alternative rush options with quicker turn around times are available for additional costs as stated, indicated, and shown.  TURN AROUND TIMES DON’T INCLUDE WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS.

Basic colors natural hair colors are $85 and for up to 3 bundles. This does not include lifting the hair from black to blonde. I, Sarah West of Mshairismypassion am not responsible for any hair that is damaged during the coloring process. I will advise you before performing the color service if the is any risk to the hair if I color it.  If you agree to these terms please sign below. Also some hair may not lift to a specific color without causing tangling, shedding etc. Please remember that the accuracy of your measurements will determine how your unit fits so it’s imperative to follow the proper measurement instructions given below and make sure they’re accurate.  MSHAIRISMYPASSION cannnot be responsible for a poor fitting unit due to inaccurate measurements. 

1. Circumference – All the way around your head.

2. Ear to Ear – Rest soft tape measure on the tip of your ear and it should go all the way around to the other side on top of your other ear.

3. Front to Back – You want the tape measure to start at the front of your hairline and go all the way to the back of your nape.

NOTE: It is best to take your custom wig fitting measurements with your hair secured up or down in the similar fashion that you would secure it when wearing your wig unit to ensure proper fit.

SINCE ALL NATURAL HAIRLINES VARY, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT IN SOME CASES YOUR FRONTAL ON YOUR CUSTOM WIG UNIT MAY FALL BEHIND YOUR EAR AT AN ANGLE DUE TO THE COMPOSITION METHOD OF MSHAIRISMYPASSION CUSTOM UNITS ARE MADE. DUE TO THIS FACTOR FHW DOES NOT SUGGEST GETTING A FRONTAL WIG UNIT IF YOU HAVE A LOW HAIR LINE, (meaning not much space between your natural hair line and your eye brows), IF YOU HAVE AN EXTENDED WIDOW’S PEAK OR EXTENDED SIDEBURNS, OR ANY OTHER SITUATION THAT IS CONSIDERED TO MAKE YOUR NATURAL HAIRLINE OTHER THAN “AVERAGE”. IF YOU ARE UNSURE IT IS PROBABLY SAFE NOT TO TAKE A CHANCE ON A FRONTAL WIG FOR THE FIRST TIME THROUGH THE MAIL. YOU MAY WANT TO TRY A FRONTAL INSTALL IN PERSON TO DETERMINE IF WEARING A FRONTAL IS FOR YOU BEFORE TRYING A FRONTAL WIG INSTALLATION METHOD. ***

 

ANY LAST MINUTE CHANGES ONCE THE UNIT IS COLORED, STYLED ETC WILL RESULT IN A $50 INCONVENIENCE FEE.

ALL WIG UNITS ARE RETURN SHIPPED VIA UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (USPS) WITH SIGNATURE TRACKING DELIVERY CONFIRMATION AND INSURED FOR THE AMOUNT THE CLIENT SELECTED ON THE WEBSITE FOR INSURANCE COVERAGE. MSHAIRISMYPASSION IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR DELAYS FOR WHATEVER UNCONTROLLABLE CIRCUMSTANCES FOR RETURN SHIPMENTS ONCE SHIPPED. YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT USPS IN THE EVENT OF LOSS OR DAMAGE OF RETURN SHIPMENTS TO PROCESS INSURANCE CLAIMS OR TRACK DELAYED OR LATE SHIPMENTS DUE TO COURIER DELAYS, HOLIDAYS, NATURAL DISASTERS.

MSHAIRISMYPASSION CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE NOR CAN YOU RECEIVE ANY REFUND/EXCHANGE/RETURN OR MODIFICATIONS OR ANY FORM OF COMPENSATION DUE TO IMPROPER FIT OF YOUR FRONTAL WIG UNIT FROM MSHAIRISMYPASSION IF YOUR HEAD MEASUREMENTS DO NOT FALL WITHIN THE PROPER RANGE AS STATED OR IF YOU FAIL TO PROPERLY OBTAIN YOUR OWN HEAD MEASUREMENTS AS THIS IS A PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND MSHAIRISMYPASSION PROVIDES REFERENCE FOR TAKING PROPER MEASUREMENTS AS WELL AS CONTACT OPTIONS FOR HELP AND FURTHER VALID INQUIRIES IF REQUIRED TO AVOID THIS.
